SACRAMENTO -- Sacramento County's "booze ban" appears to be working this Fourth of July weekend.

A law allows the county to call for bans along the American River during holiday weekends, which commonly see high consumption levels.

Recycler Don Haines told FOX40 he normally makes around $300 a day during heavy traffic weekends. Saturday he made $80.
