(KTXL) — Two people were killed and two others injured in an early-morning shooting Monday in Sacramento County, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office.
The shooting occurred around 1:15 a.m. in the 2200 block of Rogue River Drive, near Highway 50 and Watt Avenue, officials said.
Jack James Jr, 59, of Sacramento and Vicki Bright, Female, 66, of Sacramento were identified as the two victims of the shooting by the Sacramento County Coroners office.
On Wednesday, Robbene Luke Bryson was arrested in Nevada County as the suspect in the Monday shooting.
FOX40 was told by the sheriff’s office on Thursday morning that Bryson knew all the victims and the attack was not random.
Deputies that arrived at the site found two shooting victims dead and “two more suffering from critical gunshot wounds,” according to a sheriff’s office spokesperson.
A nearby neighbor who was awake at the time of the shooting told FOX40 News he heard “a car screech and a couple gunshots.”
It is still unclear what led up to the shooting.
