(FOX40.COM) — Livermore Community Park remains closed on Monday following a stabbing that took place overnight during a fight between a group of homeless people, according to the Folsom Police Department.

Police cleared the park on early Monday morning and one person from the fight is reported to have been transported to an area hospital.

So far police learned that during the fight one of the involved person grabbed the victims pocketknife and stabbed the victim.

This is believed to be an isolated incident and there is not believed to be a threat to the public.

Police are still searching for the two suspects, one of which is known to law enforcement and the other was familiar with the victim.
