(KTXL) — The Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District said two people were injured in a car crash in Antelope Friday night. 

According to Metro Fire, the driver crashed into a light pole and had to be rescued.

The driver had critical injuries, and their passenger had moderate injuries. Both were taken to the hospital. 

The California Highway Patrol is investigating how the crash happened.
