SACRAMENTO -- A road-rage incident spilled onto the Arden Mall parking lot Tuesday night, leaving one person hurt and police looking for the gunmen involved.

Police say one woman who was not involved in the incident was shot in the arm. She is expected to be OK.

Sacramento police tell FOX40 two cars were headed westbound on Arden Way around 8:40 p.m., chasing each other and firing at each other at the intersection of Arden and Heritage.

The cars turned into the mall parking lot and officers say those inside started shooting at each other again.

That's when the uninvolved woman in the area was hit.

Officers say the gunmen in both cars drove away from the scene and are still on the loose.

Investigators are reviewing video in the mall's extensive surveillance system to try and pin down which way they fled and what may have led up to the shootings.

The mall was not closed as police scoured the area for evidence.

Police are still investigating this incident and searching for the suspected shooters.
