(KTXL) — The popular Concerts in the Park series is returning for the 30th time. 

The lineup of artists performing this year at Cesar Chavez Park in downtown Sacramento was unveiled Friday with a 20-ft. banner hanging from the roof of Solomon’s on 730 K Street in downtown Sacramento.

Concerts in the Park will take place every Friday night from May 5 to July 28 with the exception of July 7. The event will take place on those dats from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The concerts are organized by the Downtown Sacramento Partnership and are free to attend. 

Who’s performing this year?

The 2023 lineup includes Blue October, Eric Bellinger, Kat Dahlia, Matt Maeson, White Reaper, Wild Child, Rain City Drive, KALLITECHNIS, The Moss, Voila, Cassie Vega, Arden Park Roots, The Brodys and Island of Black & White.

Other acts include Boot Juice, Baegod & Bedroomtrap, Chuuwee, A Foreign Affair, Jon Wiilde, Nat Lefkoff, Cities You Wish You Were From, Knocked Down, Zac Black, Sol Peligro, burke, NVTURES GHOST, Jaclyn Lovey, Lewd Jaw, Live Manikins, Tommie Phoenix, Kittie Lynne, Vonni, Dogpatch, Demon Wrangler, Rainbow City Park, Seth Kaminsky, Aquageist, LabRats, Yoni, Serialist, The Countermen, Band of Coyotes, Nataya Rule, Ambiverse, Big Coach and virgogabrielle.

According to event organizers, Concerts in the Park is the longest-running, outdoor music festival in Sacramento. The concerts typically showcase local and national bands, artists, and DJs. 

The Concerts in the Park series returned in 2022 after taking a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. About 1,000 people attended the first event of Concerts in the Park last year.
