NATOMAS, Calif. (KTXL) — The Sacramento Police Department are responding to a gas station in the area of West El Camino and Gateway Oaks Drive following a deadly shooting, according to police.
Police said that the shooting took place before 12:30 a.m. at the Speedway gas station located at 2650 Gateway Oaks Drive.
When officers arrived on scene they said they found a woman with at least one gun shot wound and she was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel.
It has been determined by police that the woman was an employee at the gas station.
A portion of Gateway Oaks Drive has been closed off along with the entrance to some nearby shopping centers.
