A few notes on the Sacramento Music Festival this weekend — musical notes.

“Everything from Polka to Blues,” is how recent Sac State grad Chris Ramos described the line-up of bands.

And there are notes on who’s been hanging out.

“There are different age group so it’s nice and lively,” said Tanya Zaberukha.

Note on how many have been hanging-out compared to last year.

“We expect to be up by 25% by the end of the day,” said Mike Testa, of the Downtown Partnership.

With the increase in attendance, there is a matching increase in security.

The Sacramento Police Department and Downtown Partnership are staffing-up to make certain the violence that broke out during the New Years Eve party isn’t repeated.
