MANTECA, Calif. (KTXL) — The San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office said a body washed ashore along the San Joaquin river near a Manteca campground on Wednesday.
Someone fishing near the Turtle Beach RV Resort first reported the body to the sheriff’s office just before noon, authorities said.
The RV resort is located on the outskirts of Manteca on Williamson Road.
Detectives are at the Manteca campground investigating.
