STOCKTON —

Stockton police say a gang member was arrested on various weapons charges on Sunday afternoon.

About 3:30 p.m., Community Response Team officers and officers from the San Joaquin Countywide Multi-Agency Gang Taskforce conducted a traffic stop on Gateway Court for a vehicle code violation.

The driver was determined to be 22-year-old Christopher Carrillo, a gang member on unlimited search and seizure probation, police said.

A compliance search of Carrillo’s home was conducted, and officers found a Smith and Wesson 38 special revolver, a Winchester rifle, and AR-15, a stolen Saiga rifle and multiple rounds of ammunition.
