Stockton police: One man dead after Saturday night shooting

STOCKTON, Calif. (KTXL) — The Stockton Police Department says a shooting occurred on John Townsend Place Saturday night.

Police say the 18-year-old man, who was shot around 8:30 p.m., died at the scene.

There is currently no information on a suspect.

A resident from the area told FOX40 they’re shocked the shooting happened just a few doors away. They said they heard four gunshots followed by the sounds of a car peeling out and speeding away.
