SACRAMENTO-
Thank you everyone who helped wipe out toilet paper costs for more than a hundred charities in the Sacramento area.
The 5th Annual FOX40 and Live United Toilet Paper Drive brought in 229,485 rolls! That shattered our goal of 190,000.
Those rolls will now be given to organizations in the Sacramento and Central Valley. Instead of spending their operating budget on toilet paper, those groups can use their money to offer even more services to their community. Some of those who will benefit include Volunteers of America, food banks, youth and womens’ centers, and Loaves and Fishes.
This year, some of the bigger tp donors included Charmin, Sac-Val Janitorial, Enterprise Rent-a-Car and Intel.
