Sacramento City Councilman Steve Cohn is organizing the effort to rebuild the playground. So far his campaign has received $40,000 in donations. The goal is to begin rebuilding next Spring.

Thursday’s meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. at the Grand Hall inside the Clunie Community Center at 601 Alhambra Boulevard in Sacramento.
