The parents were transported to an area hospital in serious but stable condition.

Telijah Brown, the manager of the apartment complex where the family lives, says Sunday wasn’t the first time she’s seen the family in a fight but this instance was by far the worst.

“It was really, really gruesome,” she said. “Horrific.”

Both parents are in serious but stable condition in the hospital. Police say he Martinez brothers were found hiding in their cars just a few miles from the apartment.
