Dozens of high school students broke into a vacant Roseville home on Halloween, throwing a party that caused hundreds of dollars in damage.

Neighbors called the police and officers broke the party up, but made no arrests.

“The question is, ‘Who is responsible?'” Rosevile Police Sergeant Josh Simon said. “What specific person is responsible?”

Neighbor Steve Stansberry lives just a few doors down from the Aylesbury Way house.

“I hope they catch them and charge them for every red cent of damage they did to that house,” Standberry said.

The door to the home is always locked, but the kids broke through the doggy door – causing about $500 worth of damage.

It’s unlikely the kids will pay, however. Despite the number of laws broken in the house – underage drinking, trespassing and vandalism – police could not find the teen responsible.

Instead, that $500 will be payed by the Realtor.
