Vacaville police respond to reports of person with gun inside a hospital

VACAVILLE, Calif. (KTXL) — Vacaville police said they responded to Kaiser Permanente Thursday evening after reports of a person with a gun inside the hospital. 

Officers arrived and learned the person had already left the scene. 

Detectives are still at the scene investigating and said the pharmacy is closed. 

The emergency room is still open.

Residents are asked to avoid the area if possible.
