A man was shot and killed on Lily Street, and Sacramento police officers do not believe it was a random event.
According to the Sacramento Police Department, officers received a report of the shooting on Sunday, and when they got there they found a 23-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds. The man was rushed to Mercy San Juan Hospital where hours later he died from his injuries.
Due to the victim’s critical injuries, detectives began actively investigating this case immediately. They do not have a suspect in custody at this time.
