One year after Lauren London was found dead in a field in Hughson, her family and friends are revealing details about her whereabouts that may provide new clues for her case.

"We were worried that she would be judged," said London's friend Taylor Eastham.

Eastham and her friends spoke with FOX40 at Starn Park in Hughson, where they released balloons in honor of what would have been London's 26th birthday.

On March 15, 2015, London's burned body was found in an orchard on Baker Road in Ceres. The Stanislaus County Sheriff's Department is investigating the death as a homicide, and have not released many details about the case. They have never said publicly how or where they believe she died before she was found in Ceres. They did not return FOX40's calls and emails for comment on Wednesday.

Eastham said London's friends all knew she was seeking treatment for addiction in the months before her death.

London's mother Denise London Donnell recently spoke with the Ceres Courier, saying her daughter had been using heroin, and staying with friends at the Tiki Lodge in Modesto. In the article, London Donnell said the last time she saw her daughter alive, she dropped her off at the Tiki Lodge about ten days before her burned body was found in Ceres.

London's friends said she had no known enemies, but they worry that while battling her addiction, she may have been spending time with the wrong people.

"But if you knew her you'd know that the addiction wasn't her. Everybody makes a bad decision; sometimes its just worse than others. Sometimes you cant correct your decision once you're that far," Eastham said.

Eastham said despite what London was struggling with, she was a great mother to her young daughter, a good friend, and did not deserve to die the way she did.

If you believe you may have seen Lauren London near the Tiki Lodge in Modesto last March, or have any details about how she was killed, call the Stanislaus County Sheriff's Department.
