Travel on Sunday was busy for those returning home from the Thanksgiving holiday.
The scene remained steady at Sacramento International Airport. Officials said they saw less foot traffic this year than in years prior, but were fully staffed in case of any mishaps.
Travelers said planes were packed, but that was the most of their travel worries.
“People were trying to get in the flight and everyone was sitting in the isle. It was hard for everyone to get to a seat,” said traveler Clarissa Rodriguez.
Amtrak stations were also busy with a majority of trains and buses sold out on Sunday.
