SACRAMENTO — Tuesday, June 7, California voted in its June primary election.

For president, Donald Trump is presumed to be the GOP nominee, as everyone else has dropped out, but Democratic candidates Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders are still locked in a heated battle.

Clinton has a commanding lead in delegates over Sanders, but California has a whopping 475 delegates up for grabs.


Closer to home, Sacramento and Stockton have mayoral races to consider, Sacramento County Sheriff Scott Jones is running as a Republican against Democratic incumbent Ami Bera for a U.S. House seat and 34 people are running for U.S. Senate.
