Prop 39 Passes, Multi-State Businesses to Pay California Taxes

SACRAMENTO-

Businesses that operate in California and other states, will have to pay California income taxes.

Proposition 39, which changes tax rules for companies, received 60% of the vote in Tuesday’s election.

The expected revenue from the increase in taxes is partially dedicated to new projects that create clean energy.
