A Gold Line train from Sunrise to Downtown derailed between 13th and 14th streets Wednesday morning.
While there were passengers in the car, RT official Alane Masui noted that there were no injuries.
Apparently, the center truck of the lead car derailed around 7:43 a.m., Masui said. Overhead wires were damaged and it took about six hours to repair them and get trains running on schedule again.
Buses took people between Broadway and 7th & K for the Blue Line and 29th Street to Sac Valley Station for the Gold Line. Riders were advised to take route 15 for the Green Line.
