Stockton Officers Arrest Suspect After Short Vehicle Pursuit

STOCKTON — A suspect led Stockton police officers on a short two mile, two-minute pursuit after they attempted to make a traffic violation stop.

The chase reached speeds of about 35 mph.

The man stopped the car on San Joaquin and Rose and was caught by authorities after taking off on foot.

Corey Conyers, 27, was arrested for felony evading, resisting arrest and a parole warrant.
