Police are calling the incident where a man was run over by an RV a homicide – with investigators now saying that there was an argument just before the hit-and-run.

The incident happened around 9:40 p.m. at the Low Cost Liquor store parking lot off of Sacramento Avenue. A motor home apparently hit and killed a man now identified by the Yolo County Coroner’s Office as 58-year-old West Sacramento resident Michael Ray Anderson.

The RV drove away from the scene, but surveillance footage from inside of the store caught a glimpse of two people believed to be in the vehicle at the time.

Further investigation also revealed that some kind of argument between the people in the RV and Anderson, along with other people, preceded the incident.

Investigators are looking into more video surveillance from other surrounding businesses to gleam any more information on the hit-and-run suspects. Police describe the RV as possibly being an off-white 1999 Tiffin Allegro with a blue or turquoise rocker on the bottom.

Anyone who sees the RV or who knows who the suspects may be are asked to call the West Sacramento Police Department at (916) 372-3375.
