For sporting events like the World Series, FOX is constantly pushing technological boundaries to get fans as close to the action as possible.

That means putting tiny cameras in the field of play – the dirt in front of home plate and next to first base.

The camera itself is slightly larger than a sunflower seed shell. What’s even more impressive, the production crew has less than an hour between batting practice and first pitch to set the cameras up.
