After weeks of speculation, Pablo Sandoval and the Boston Red Sox have made it official.

The third baseman is said to have signed a five-year deal with the team Monday, believed to be worth nearly $100 million over that time.

The Red Sox also picked up Dodgers short stop Hanley Ramirez with a similar deal.

Sandoval was with the Giants since 2008. In that time, he’s had stellar performances in three World Series championships. He was named World Series MVP in 2012.
