It’s the hardest decision they have to make in their young lives, where to attend college. It was a relief to many to get it done Wednesday.
“Yes, definitely glad to get it over with and now I can concentrate on wrestling,” Franklin High School’s Joey Banks said, who will be playing for Sac State this fall.
Ten football players from the Elk Grove School District signed their letters of intent Wednesday morning in front of friends and family, joining thousands from around the nation who made it official where they will be playing next season.
Cosumnes Oaks star wide receiver Alex Van Dyke is headed to UCLA, saying it was an easy decision once he saw the campus and talked with the coaching staff.
“I knew once I was there that that’s where I was going to play, it was easy,” Van Dyke said.
