SACRAMENTO-
As the 2014 United States Track and Field Championships loom, the possibility of the event returning in 2017 is already strong.
The return, organizers say, hinges on spectator turnout. At least 22,500 tickets must be sold.
The last time the championships were held in Sacramento was in 2008.
Like last time, the event will be held at Sac State. This year’s championships will be held June 26-29.
