Sierra Communities Dig Out from Weekend Storm

Over the last four to five days, the Sierra got around four to seven feet of snow.

Staff at the Sierra at Tahoe ski resort were called in to help dig out lifts and get ready for the coming rush of skiers and boarders.

The snow was described as “wet and dense” rather than powdery, not that anyone is complaining.
