Thanksgiving Week Storm Big On Snow

Tuesday’s storm will be the most impressive snow producer of the season so far with a foot and a half of new snow near the crest.

By Wednesday morning snow level will have lowered to 2,000 with as much as two inches possible for Placerville and three to five inches for Grass Valley.

The rain will come in two waves, the first sweeping across the valley late morning and early afternoon and the second wave arrive in the predawn hours of Wednesday and ending by late morning.

Rainfall totals will be anywhere from .30″ – .50″
